  Note that this is the version as reported by the library at runtime.

  example by having some optimized or patched routines.  For the version
  included with \R, the older (not Fortran 90) versions of
  \preformatted{
    DLARTG DLASSQ ZLARTG ZLASSQ
  }
  are used.
