Bootstrap R Functions=====================Version 1.3; May 2011:The main change is support for parallel computation in functionsboot(), censboot() and tsboot().Many of the examples have been tidied up.Version 1.2; March 2001:This version corrects some minor errors in Version 1.0 of the codedistributed with the first printing of Davison and Hinkley (1997).The author would like to thank those users who pointed out errors orpossible improvements to the code. Any further errors found should bereported to the author (Angelo Canty) for correction in the nextversion. The package contains the following functions, all of whichhave online help available.abc.ci ABC confidence intervalsboot Main bootstrap functionboot.array Generate a bootstrap frequency/index arrayboot.ci Bootstrap simulation confidence intervalscensboot Bootstrap for censored datacontrol Control variate calculationscorr Weighted form of correlation coefficientcum3 Estimate the skewnesscv.glm Cross-validation for generalized linear modelsempinf Calculate empirical influence valuesenvelope Confidence envelopes for functionsexp.tilt Exponential tiltingfreq.array Convert an index array into a frequency arrayglm.diag Diagnostics for generalized linear modelsglm.diag.plots Diagnostic plots for glm'simp.moments Importance resampling estimates of momentsimp.prob Importance resampling estimates of probabilitiesimp.quantile Importance resampling estimates of quantilesimp.weights Weights for importance resamplinginv.logit Inverse logit functionjack.after.boot Jackknife after bootstrap plotsk3.linear Linear skewness approximationlinear.approx Linear approximation to a statisticlines.saddle.distn Lines method for a saddlepoint distribution objectlogit Logit of a proportionnorm.ci Normal approximation confidence intervalsplot.boot Plot method for a bootstrap objectprint.boot Print method for a bootstrap objectprint.bootci Print method for a bootstrap confidence interval objectprint.saddle.distn Print method for a saddlepoint distribution objectprint.simplex Print method for a simplex objectsaddle Simple and conditional saddlepoint calculationssaddle.distn Approximate a distribution by saddlepointsimplex Tableau simplex method for linear programmingsmooth.f Frequency smoothingtilt.boot Tilted bootstraptsboot Bootstrap for time seriesvar.linear Linear variance approximationThe package also contains some items used in the practicals of"Bootstrap Methods and Their Applications" by A.C.
